Here Is the Date of Eid al-Adha 2020 in Morocco

Hicham El Aissaoui, a well-known astronomer, delivered his predictions for the date of Eid al-Adha 2020 in Morocco. According to his calculations, Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Friday 31 July.

More than 4.5 million sheep and goats were identified between 22 April and 6 June 2020, as part of the preparations for Eid al-Adha 1441, announced the National Office for Food Safety (ONSSA).

This identification operation consists, as in the last two years, in placing on one of the animal’s ears, a yellow loop with a unique serial number for each animal, in addition to the words “عيد األضحى”, said a statement from the ONSSA, adding that the identification operation is continuing in all regions of the Kingdom.

The health situation of the national herd is satisfactory and health monitoring and surveillance are carried out throughout the national territory by the ONSSA veterinary services in close collaboration with private veterinarians.
