Mehdi Bourabia played a frustrating match against Atalanta Bergamo (4-1) on Sunday 21 June. The two teams were playing on the 26th round of Serie A.
His team received three goals in less than 40 minutes, including a counter-attack against Atlas Lion, which allowed the Moroccan international to score a goal against his own team.
However, Bourabia was able to make up for that in stoppage time with a magnificent free-kick in the 92nd minute.
Sassuolo currently occupies 12th place in the Italian championship standings with 32 points (9 wins, 5 draws and 12 defeats). 2 points separates it from Bologna as well as from the Top 10.
