La Viola has reached an agreement with Hellas Verona to take over the Moroccan international from next summer. Here are the details of the contract.
Yesterday evening, one day before the end of the mercato, Sofyan Amrabat signed with Fiorentina, currently 13th in Serie A. The Moroccan will join his new club next summer, as he can only play in 3 different clubs during the same season. He started the current season with FC Brugge before joining Hellas Verona.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who has played 18 league matches with Gialloblu (ninth in Serie A), has signed a five-year contract with the club where Franck Ribery plays.
Fiorentina paid 20 million euros to sign him, and he will receive a salary of one and a half million euros per season, Calciomercato.com explains.
The Lion of Atlas, who made a remarkable debut in Italy, was initially expected to join Napoli. Inter Milan, second in the league, were back on the track in the final hours of the mercato, but without success.
