Hamid Dahane, a Moroccan international and former Union Sportive Sidi Kacem (USK) football player, died on Monday in Sidi Kacem at the age of 76.
Hamid Dahane represented Morocco at the 1970 World Cup in Mexico. After retiring from football, he embarked on a coaching experience with his former club, USK. He then became president of the association of former players of the Sidi Kacem club. He was also a primary school teacher and spokesman for USK.
In a statement, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation conveyed its deepest condolences to the entire national football family following the death of this great name who gave so much to the Moroccan sports history.
