After having a brilliant season with FC Malaga, the Moroccan goalkeeper Munir Mohamedi has attracted the interest of several Spanish clubs.
The Spanish newspaper Marca reports that, Munir Mohamedi, current holder of the ‘Zamora’ award, is in the sights of several local clubs. Among these clubs are Espanyol Barcelona, which has been dropped to the second division this season, and Huesca, which has moved up to the first division.
The same source adds that considering the high demand, it is likely that the Moroccan goalkeeper will leave his club during the current mercato.
It should be noted that Munir Mohamedi won the Zamora Liga Segunda trophy, which is awarded to the best goalkeeper of the season. The Malaga goalkeeper conceded only 29 goals in 38 games played, a ratio of 0.76 goals per game. He has cleared the ball 18 times, and has managed to keep 18 clean sheets, a new record in Spain.
