Younes Belhanda Attracts the Attention of an Italian Club

After Al-Duhail SC, Al-Rayyan SC and Al-Nassr FC, it is now the turn of U.C. Sampdoria to chase after Younes Belhanda. Serie A seems to be the most likely destination for the Atlas Lion.

According to the Italian media, Sampdoria have reportedly listed Younes Belhanda as a possible recruiting target this summer. The Serie A team is reportedly looking for an experienced attacking midfielder.

The club’s coach Claudio Ranieri has been quoted as saying he has made the Moroccan’s recruitment a priority this summer, as he is keen to strengthen his squad for the next season.

If the Italian club are willing to pay the €5 million set by Galatasary’s management, negotiations with the player could begin, reports Turkish website Haberturk.

Belhanda is under contract with the Istanbul club until June 2021, and several clubs are interested in signing the player. In recent weeks, his name has been mentioned by Qatar’s Al Duhail and Al-Rayyan in addition to Al Nassr FC.
