The seasonal service that Air France launched last year from Tangiers to the Air France hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle has been extended for the winter 2021 season.
“Air France is continuing to strengthen its services to Morocco. Last year, Air France launched a new seasonal service from Tangiers to the Air France hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Following its success, this route has been extended for the winter 2021 season”, says the airline in an Air France press release.
Two weekly flights will be offered from Tangier, in addition to the Air France offer from Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech, the same source said.
In total, up to 65 flights will be operated each week between these destinations and Paris, thus allowing connections to the entire short, medium and long-haul network of the airline.
Regarding the flight schedule for the winter 2021 season, the airline notes that from 31 October until the end of March 2022, Air France will operate up to two flights per week from Tangiers to Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
Reservations are already open at all Air France sales outlets including “www.airfrance.ma”.
This flight schedule may change depending on travel restrictions.
Since the beginning of the covid-19 crisis, Air France has been adjusting its offer in real time, taking into account the evolution of the health situation.
Before travelling, Air France invites its customers to check the conditions of entry and the documents required on arrival at their destination. To find out more, visit the website www.airfrance.traveldoc.aero.
In addition, Air France would like to remind customers that as part of its commercial policy, the airline is currently offering 100% changeable tickets for travel until 31 March 2022.
Customers can thus modify their reservation free of charge, or obtain a refundable credit note if they no longer wish to travel.
If the flight is cancelled by the airline, the customer has the choice of postponing their trip, requesting a full refund of their ticket or receiving a credit note, also refundable if not used.
Air France’s commitment to health
The health and well-being of Air France customers and staff is a core concern for the airline.
Air France is committed to guaranteeing its customers the best possible health and safety conditions throughout their trip, from the moment they arrive at the airport.
On board and throughout the journey, the wearing of a surgical mask is mandatory. In the cabin, the air is renewed every 3 minutes.
The air recycling system on Air France aircraft is equipped with HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air)
filters identical to those used in operating theatres.
Finally, Air France has stepped up the cleaning of its aircraft, in particular by disinfecting all surfaces in contact with customers, such as armrests, tablets and screens, before each flight.
