The pearl of the Souss has become the eldorado of foreign investors. Porto Agadir is a new tourist village in project in Agadir, carried by the Egyptian real estate group Porto and whose construction work should start in 2022.
Porto Agadir is part of three real estate projects announced last March by the group for a cumulative investment of 1.27 billion dollars. It is a tourist village which will cover a total area of 1.2 million square metres. Its initial investment, subject to increase, is of the order of 500 million dollars.
This sum is called to be reinforced in the weeks or months to come. In any case, this project is intended to develop the tourist offer in the seaside city considered as the most popular in the world.
This project will allow the creation of employment in a sector that has suffered from the Covid-19 crisis.
