“The world’s best Hotels 2022: No Moroccan Hotel is on the list

The American weekly “Newsweek” has just published its ranking of the best hospitals in the world. The study does not rank any Moroccan hospital or clinic among the 250 best in the world.

The three best establishments in the world are all American: the Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, is ahead of the Cleveland Clinic and the Massachusets General Hospital.

In the top 20, there are several European hospitals, such as the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois in Switzerland and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin in Germany, and Asian hospitals, such as The University of Tokyo Hospital in Japan and Singapore General Hospital. The Israeli hospital Sheba Medical Center is ranked 10th.

Surprisingly, of all the Arab countries, only two manage to keep their heads above water. These are the Saudi King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (126th) and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (129th).

Newsweek’s global rankings, produced in collaboration with the Statista Institute, list the best hospitals in 27 countries. Newsweek based its ranking on several criteria: patient satisfaction surveys, recommendations from health professionals and quality performance such as hygiene measures, quality of care for specific treatments or the number of patients per doctor or nurse.
