The filling rate of dams in the region Casablanca-Settat has reached 40.97% as of April 5, 2022, said the Agency of the Hydraulic Basin of Bouregreg and Chaouia (ABHBC) on its website. The filling level of these dams was 62.79% during the same period last year, said the ABHBC, adding that the dams, whose total capacity is 1107.524 million m3, have reached, until April 5, 453.744 million m3.
According to the Agency, the reservoirs of Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah (Skhirat-Témara) have reached 404.995 million m3, a filling rate of 41.55%, against 631.618 million m3 during the same period a year ago. As for the Tamesna dam in the region of Ben Ahmed (Settat province), they amounted to 24.482 million m3, a filling rate of 42.95%, against 60.1% (34.257 million m3) a year earlier.
Regarding the filling rate of dams El Himer (Settat) and El Mellah (Benslimane), they amounted to 12.98% (1.817 million m3) and (14.367 million m3), against 2.311 and 19.589 million m3 the previous year, respectively Regarding the dam Ain Kouachia, it recorded a filling rate of 65.53% (7.208 million m3), against 7.22 million m3 during the same period last year.
The Zamrine dam has recorded, for its part, a filling rate of 60.28% (0.299 million m3) against 0.43 million m3 a year earlier.
