Rabat: Record increase in fish prices

At the fish market in the Akkari district in Rabat, a record price increase has, once again, unpleasantly surprised customers this Sunday. The price of some fish now exceeds 140 dh / kg. It is easy to see that the prices of most types of fish have jumped remarkably compared to the first days of the month of Ramadan, especially with regard to sardines, anchovies and sole.

In fact, sardines now cost 30 dirhams, anchovies have reached 60 dirhams and sole is sold 150 dirhams.
