Construction: Business leaders show their pessimism

The expectations put forward by business leaders in the Construction sector, for the 2nd quarter 2022, show, overall, a decrease in activity, mainly due to the decline in activity expected in the “Civil Engineering”, says the HCP in its recent note on the results of quarterly surveys of the manufacturing, mining, energy and environmental industries and that of construction.

This development in the construction sector would be accompanied by a stability of the number of employees, adds the HCP.
