Los Angeles, July 14 — Following President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Yair Lapid’s signing of the Jerusalem Statement, codifying American opposition to Iran’s aggression and nuclear aspirations, and its commitment to Israel’s national security and wellbeing, the Israeli-American Council (IAC) made the following statement:
“We thank President Biden for his clear stance against Iran’s nuclear aspirations and steadfast position against this terror regime. The historic Jerusalem Statement is a testament to the unbreakable Israel-US alliance, the mutual goal of protecting American and Israeli lives, and is an important milestone in the relationship of the two countries. The US-Israel relationship and shared values should always be above politics. We are grateful to the U.S. for the unwavering support and commitment to Israel’s security, and as Israelis and Americans, we are proud to see the ever-strengthening ties between the two countries.”
