In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the Ministry also said that the number of primary vaccinated reached 24,882,571, those who received two doses amounted to 23,373,732 while 6,712,909 people had three injections of the vaccine. The number of people who received the fourth dose is 31,648.
The new record of infections brings to 1,263,035 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020, while the number of recovered people has risen to 1,245,170, representing a recovery rate of 98.6%.
The new cases of infection have been recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (38), Oriental (26), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (24), Fez-Meknes (22), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (20), Marrakech-Safi (10), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (03), Souss-Massa (02), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (01), Draâ-Tafilalet (01) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (01).
The total number of deaths rose to 16,262 (case-fatality 1.3%), with two new cases recorded in 24 hours in the Souss-Massa region.
The active cases are 1,603 while no new severe or critical cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours, for a total of 44. As for the occupancy rate of resuscitation beds, it is 0.8%.
