In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the Ministry also said that the number of primary vaccinated reached 24,891,938, those who received two doses amounted to 23,384,674, while 6,751,903 people had three injections of the vaccine. The number of people who received the fourth dose is 39,449.
The new record of infections brings to 1,264,342 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020, while the number of recovered people has risen to 1,247,652, representing a recovery rate of 98.7%.
The new cases of infection were reported in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (06), Oriental (06), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (05), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (05), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (02), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (01) and Fès-Meknès (01)
The total number of deaths rose to 16,272 (case fatality 1.3%), with only one case recorded in 24 hours in the region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab.
The active cases are 418 while the severe or critical cases have reached 04 in the last 24 hours, bringing their total to 17. As for the occupancy rate of resuscitation beds, it is 0.3%.
