In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the Ministry also said that the number of first-time vaccine recipients has reached 24,903,966, that of people who have received two doses is 23,399,637, while 6,808,572 people have had three injections of the vaccine and 48,116 have received the fourth dose.
The new record of infections brings to 1,264,850 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020, while the number of recovered people has risen to 1,248,428, representing a recovery rate of 98.7%.
The new cases of infection have been recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (03), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (02), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (02), l’Oriental (01), Souss-Massa (01) and Fès-Meknès (01).
The total number of deaths is still 16,278 (case fatality 1.3%), with zero cases recorded in the last 24 hours.
Active cases numbered 144 with zero severe or critical cases in the last 24 hours, for a total of two cases.
