Imam Hassan Iquioussen arrested in Belgium

Imam Hassan Iquioussen, registered as “S” and accused by the Minister of the Interior of holding “statements inciting hatred”, the imam is targeted by an expulsion order from France since July 28. Since then, his case has not ceased to attract the attention of the media.

The French Council of State validated his expulsion to the Kingdom at the end of August. This decision was then suspended in early August by the administrative court of Paris, which considered that it would be a “disproportionate attack” on the “private and family life” of the imam.

Morocco, it should be recalled, had granted a pass to the imam, for his repatriation to Morocco, but then, the Moroccan authorities have suspended the consular pass, for lack of sufficient information on the imam.
