In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the Ministry also said that the number of first-time vaccine recipients has reached 24,909,767, that of people who have received two doses is 23,407,561, while 6,833,700 people have had three injections of the vaccine and 52,125 have received the fourth dose.
The new record of infections brings to 1,265,265 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020, while the number of recovered people has risen to 1,248,834, representing a recovery rate of 98.7%. The new cases of infection have been recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (18), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (12), Marrakech-Safi (01), Fès-Meknès (01) and Oriental (01).
The total number of deaths rose to 16,280 (case fatality 1.3%), with one case recorded in 24 hours in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region. There are 151 active cases with one severe or critical case in the last 24 hours, for a total of one case.
