Moroccan Hassan Doukkali won the bronze medal in the under 73kg category on the first day of the Senior European Cup 2022 judo competition, held October 15-16 in Malaga, Spain.
Doukkali defeated in the repechage for third place the Spanish Daniel Segado Fernandez.
In addition to Doukkali, Morocco is also represented by Hafsa Yatim (-78 kg), Soufia Attar (-70 kg), Ikram Bensalem (+78 kg), Mohamed Lahboub (-100 kg) and Zouhir Sarir (+100 kg).
