Good news. The price of diesel has dropped slightly on Friday. As noted by the Moroccan press, several gas stations show a drop of about 23 cents in the price of diesel, whose liter now costs 16.14 dirhams. At the same time, the price of gasoline remained unchanged.
As a reminder, the price of fuel had increased two weeks ago. The cost of a liter of gasoline and premium diesel increased by 84 cents.
How can this surprising change be explained? What is worth remembering is that we are living through an oil shock marked by a dramatic increase in the price of crude oil, attributable to the post-Covid global economic recovery and the war between Russia and Ukraine, explained a specialist, pointing out that disruptions in the “supply chain” had made this product more desirable. This observation is still valid.
