Military transport: Morocco receives its multi-axle truck squadron from India

Morocco would have received from India 92 multi-axle Tata trucks (LPTA 2245 6×6) with high mobility. These military machines would have been shipped from the port of Pipavav in the state of Gujarat (India), according to “Indian defense research wing”, the Indian media specialized in military news.

In fact, the LPTA 244 6×6 truck has a militarized cabin suitable for armor with a titular arrangement, coil and shock absorber, says the same source. These vehicles should be used, the media emphasizes, for the transport of ammunition pallets, spare parts and other operational equipment.

In addition, the 6×6 high mobility all-wheel drive vehicle can be configured for a variety of applications, including a common gun tower, multi-barrel rocket launcher, missile firing unit, missile service vehicle, field service vehicle, short-range surface-to-air missile, fast-reaction surface-to-air missile, fast-reaction low-altitude missile and medium recovery vehicle.
