Morocco-Africa: Trade crosses 65 billion dirhams by 2022

During the weekly session dedicated to oral questions, Ryad Mezzour was asked about the strengthening of trade with sub-Saharan African countries. He took the opportunity to present updated figures on the evolution of trade.  

 “In accordance with the High Royal Instructions, Morocco strengthens its trade in various fields with African countries. Between 2001 and 2020, trade was estimated at 10 billion dirhams (MMDH), but in 2021, the volume of these exchanges reached 46 MMDH and we estimate that it will exceed 65 MMDH by the end of 2022,” he said.  

 In this wake, Ryad Mezzour said that several projects are planned to strengthen trade and partnerships with different countries on the continent.
