On the sidelines of this meeting, the President of the Union of Young Entrepreneurs of Mexico, Francisco Cervantes Palacios, stressed that the Kingdom offers countless investment opportunities in promising sectors such as energy, infrastructure, tourism and communications.
Cervantes Palacios added that young Mexican businessmen intend to take advantage of the benefits offered by Morocco as a strategic platform and gateway from Latin America to the African and European continents, as well as the political and financial stability enjoyed by the Kingdom in a regional context and turbulent international context.
He also stressed that the removal of Morocco from the gray list of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) strengthens international confidence in general and that of Mexican businessmen in particular in the Moroccan economy and its potential.
For his part, the Moroccan ambassador to Mexico, Abdelfattah Lebbar, reviewed, during this meeting, the investment opportunities that Morocco offers thanks to a dynamic business climate with excellent prospects for growth and development.
The ambassador said that the meeting with the Union of Young Entrepreneurs of Mexico reflects the “clear interest” of Mexican actors to strengthen economic relations with the Kingdom, expressing their wish that the commercial potential of both countries is fully exploited.
