48 public elementary school are involved and the stakes are high: raising awareness among students about environmental protection. The program, organized by SDL Casablanca Baia under the aegis of the Municipality of Casablanca, and in association with the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Region (AREF) of Casablanca-Settat, is once again set the challenge of training students of public elementary school in Casablanca on eco-citizen gestures, while raising awareness of the preservation of their environment.
A battery of activities is proposed in this sense, including awareness workshops around the process of collecting and processing waste in the city and provides for the distribution of an educational comic book, musical and artistic animations provided by specially trained social animators.
Signs displaying good waste management practices will be placed in the corridors of each school to ensure the sustainability of the program and remind students of the importance of preserving their environment, says a statement from the organizers.
