A young woman in her twenties lost consciousness and died in hospital after being attacked by an assailant in the Ben Cheikh douar in the Temsia rural commune of the Inzegane-Aït Melloul prefecture. She was in the company of her mother when the moped-borne thug stole her smartphone at gunpoint before fleeing the scene. She suffered a fit of hysteria which she didn’t survive. The Inzegane Royal Gendarmerie launched an investigation. Meanwhile, the victim’s body was evacuated to the morgue for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The thug has been identified and is the subject of a nationwide search warrant. As for his mother, she is still in shock.
