Unfortunately, despite the rapid intervention of the lifeguards, the victim could not be resuscitated after his body was recovered from the sand.
Rescuers were forced to pronounce him dead in the presence of the authorities, and his remains were evacuated to the Témara morgue. A sad day for the local community.
