Two young Moroccan tourists in Turkey mistakenly deported to Syria

Syrian opposition media based in Turkey are warning of the deportation of two Moroccan tourists from Turkey to northern Syria, as part of a mass repatriation of Syrian refugees from Turkey to Syria’s northern regions.

According to the same sources, Azzedine Er-remmach, 27, and Nabil Rochdi, 30, were involved. The two Moroccan nationals were handed over to the anti-migration detention center in the town of Aazaz, 30 kilometers northwest of Aleppo, in the Aleppo governorate.

The Moroccan Embassy in Ankara has contacted the security authorities in Aazaz to coordinate their return to Turkey and then to Morocco.
