Earthquake: Four French citizens among the victims and fifteen injured

Nearly fifteen French citizens were injured in the powerful earthquake that struck on Friday night, September 8.    
In a written statement, the Quai d’Orsay deplored the death of three other French citizens near Marrakech, bringing the total number of French victims to four at this stage. On Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had already confirmed the death of a French citizen in Agadir.    
Nearly 2012 people died in the earthquake, which struck the provinces and municipalities of Al-Haouz, Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Azilal, Chichaoua and Taroudant. A further 2,059 people were injured, including 1404 in a serious condition.
