As a result of the tensions between Hamas and the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip, flight AT228, operated by a 160-seat Boeing 737, scheduled to take off from Casablanca’s Mohamed V international airport at 11.20 p.m. for Tel Aviv’s Ben-Gurion airport, has been cancelled.
At the same time, a flight operated by the Israeli airline El Al, which was due to take off from Marrakech to Tel Aviv on the same Saturday evening, has not been cancelled.
Passengers whose contact details can be found in the booking file will receive e-mails and SMS messages informing them of the cancellation of their flight, the airline said.
Passengers holding tickets on the above-mentioned flights are asked to check the status of their flight and verify or update their contact details via the: manage booking section of the https://www.royalairmaroc.com/ma-en/booking/manage -booking website.
“We invite passengers whose flights have been cancelled not to go to the airport and to contact their original point of sale or the RAM call center to benefit from the above arrangements”, the airline stressed.
