The head of a sports association in Casablanca, arrested in El Jadida following his involvement in a case of pedophilia, will appear for the first time on Tuesday October 31 before the criminal division of the El Jadida Court of Appeal. The decision was taken on Monday October 16 by the examining magistrate, who charged him with human trafficking and indecent assault.
The 57-year-old was arrested by police in El Jadida after appearing in a video that made the rounds on social networks, showing him kissing a child on the beach and touching him in a sexual manner. The video showed the accused trying to cover his face and that of the child with a T-shirt.
Upset, a summer girl standing not far from them filmed the shocking session on her smartphone, which went viral on social networks. The pedophile was finally questioned by the police. He was indeed the president of a sports association which organized an excursion for 19 children living in the Anassi district of Casablanca. However, the police investigation revealed that this was merely a pretext to find himself with children whom he wished to sexually abuse.
