In Zagora, a twenty-one-year-old criminal suspected of killing a petrol station attendant before getting his hands on the daily takings was arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning, November 23, by members of the judicial police squad attached to the Zagora security district, according to a police source.
Alerted by the hospital in Zagora, police officers arrived to carry out an examination on the body of the pump attendant, who succumbed to his injuries following a physical attack perpetrated with a blunt object which turned out to be a shovel, the same judicial source added. The investigation revealed that a sum of money, namely the daily takings, had disappeared, added the same source, who affirmed that the investigators quickly succeeded in identifying the perpetrator of the murder coupled with theft and arrested him while he was under the influence of drugs.
