In the douar of the rural commune of Zagmouzen in the province of Taroudant, a father of five in his forties put an end to his wife’s life on Tuesday November 28, before fleeing the scene. Alerted by the couple’s children, members of the Royal Gendarmerie rushed to the scene to carry out a preliminary investigation. They discovered the mother, in her thirties, with her throat slit like a sheep, lying in a pool of blood. The corpse was evacuated to the Taroudant regional hospital morgue for an autopsy, while the murderer is still being sought.
