The 99th Edition of Hob Lamlouk (Cherry) Festival

The 99th edition of the famous Hob Lamlouk (Cherry) Festival is to take place in the city of Sefrou between June 13 and 16, and as always, it will feature a lot of colors and rhythms.

According to the organizers, the program of this year’s edition will include folkloric and modern musical shows, art galleries, games, conference and seminars moderated by a number of professors and researchers, and Moroccan ‘Fantasia’ shows.

As the 99 year-old tradition instructs, Miss Hob Lamlouk Festival will hand out cherry fruit to the audiences that travel from all over the kingdom to celebrate the cherry season and festival.

This festival is comes as an initiative from Karaz Institute, and in collaboration with the municipality of Sefrou. The rationale behind organizing this festival, which is 3 days long, is to celebrate the natural and cultural beauty of the region.

It is worth mentioning that Hob Lamlouk Fastival is recognized by the UNESCO.
