Mina Binebine: Everyday, I learn new things from my father

In the new episode of Nayda in Hollywood, Simo Benbachir welcomed Mina Binebine, the youngest Hollywood fashion designer, who traveled to San Diego in 2013 before moving to Los Angeles a year later to pursue her studies, the city will also make her love the fashion world.

In her interview with Simo, Mena considered that the creations she presents are as modern as they are likely to meet the expectations of women in different categories, whether Moroccan or foreign.

Regarding the parade she organized under the title “Marrakech”, Mina said: “I have always wanted my friends and acquaintances in the United States to visit the city of Marrakech. Also, I used this fashion show to create the Marrakchi universes in the United States… It was a great experience. »

Mina also talked about how the Moroccan touch is present in her creations, and the great satisfaction of Americans and foreigners in general who love it, : “My collections are suitable for modern women, but the fabrics I use are Moroccan. I buy them from the medina of Marrakech and I make traditional Moroccan couturiers work.”

As for her work-study balance, Mina said: “Higher education is not easy, but I can reconcile it with my work in fashion, because I am simply in the United States of America, where anything is possible.

During the day, I work in the fashion world and in the evening I take business management courses, and the next day, I put the content of my courses into practice. »

As for her relationship with her father, the writer and visual artist Mahi Binebine, Mina confirmed that she learned a lot from him: “I often accompany him in his studio and draw with him. I owe him everything I have been able to achieve so far. Everyday, I learn new things from him. »
