Tourism Is Still Going Well in Agadir

A total of 1,900,272 tourists visited the city of Agadir at the end of October 2019, an increase of 4.91% compared to the same period of 2018 which recorded 962,014 visitors, according to data from the Regional Tourism Centre (CRT) of Agadir Souss-Massa.

Moroccan tourists are the first visitors to the city (379,508), against 334,554 during the first ten months of 2018, an increase of 13.44%.

French tourists come in second position with 179.395 arrivals as against 152.861 at the end of October of the previous year, marking an increase of 17.36%. British tourists occupy the 3rd position with 105,760 arrivals against 108,817 during the same period of the past year, a decrease of 2.81%.

German tourists, on the other hand, occupy the 4th position with 102,134 arrivals against 86,545, an increase of 18.01%.

Besides, the 4-star hotels welcomed the greatest number of tourists who visited Agadir at the end of October, a total of 291.770, followed by tourist clubs with 206.406 tourists. Luxury hotels of the 5-star category received, for their part, 187,808 tourists followed by tourist residences (138,365).
