Through breathtaking shows, the first two editions kept all their promises. The spectators experienced, during the time of the festival, real moments of joy, conviviality, communion and sharing. The event will continue to showcase emerging and established comedy talents on 100% African stages and will bring a large audience to come and discover these new shows”.
“Laughter is for me the best form of communion between souls and beings, and our dear Africa is the land of diversity, fraternity and the future of humanity. As I traveled through Africa, I learned to laugh at the worst and to cry for the best. From North to South and from East to West, I discovered brothers and sisters, different, but so good, so beautiful. So it is time for us all to laugh together so that we can also take part in this beautiful human adventure of our time, that of development and cohesion among all the peoples of our dear continent. From Dakar to Kinshasa, from Abidjan to Ouagadougou, everywhere I felt at home. Africa is my home, my greatest source of joy and inspiration”: Concludes Tahar Lazrak also known as Oualas, initiator of the Africa of Laughter.
