Brazil Plans to Export Fish to Morocco Soon

“Morocco recognized, on Thursday 6 February, the international health certificate presented by Brazil for the export of fish” to the Kingdom, the document reads.

According to the Brazilian Secretary of Aquaculture and Fisheries, Jorge Seif Junior, last year Morocco imported the equivalent of 240 million dollars worth of fish from all over the world. Brazil could be part of this market”.

Seif Junior also pointed out that “the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture is looking for new markets, as fish production is increasing every year in the country, and Morocco is particularly interested in squid and shrimp”.
