Billy Kemper was seriously injured Tuesday during a surf trip in Morocco. The Hawaiian surfer fell heavily in a wave and fractured his pelvis.
“It was so violent, it knocked me out, and when I came to the surface I was barely conscious. I did everything I could to scream or ask for help, but I couldn’t because my body was convulsing,” Kemper told Stab magazine.
According to the team, the famous surfer, who is currently hospitalized in Casablanca, should be repatriated to the United States for further medical examinations, adding that the nature of his injury has not yet been fully diagnosed. they added that Billy Kemper could also be hit in the knee and hip.
“I will be back stronger than ever,” he wrote on his Instagram account to reassure his fans.
