Fez: Cured of Coronavirus, a Baby Leaves the Hospital Center University Hassan II

Two people recovered from the new Coronavirus (Covid-19), including a three-month-old baby, left the Hospital Center University Hassan II (CHU) in Fez on Sunday.

The two people (a woman and a little girl) were applauded by the medical and nursing staff and all the agents operating in the different services of the hospital. In a statement to MAP, Sanae Bouchnafati, a doctor at the Fez University Hospital, expressed her ” tremendous joy ” to see two new cases leave the hospital, praising the efforts made by all the medical, nursing and administrative staff, as well as other actors in the chain of care of patients, including stretcher-bearers and cleaners.

She urged the population to comply with the instructions of the Moroccan authorities to help preserve the health of citizens and the general interest of the Kingdom, which has taken “excellent preventive and proactive measures” to stop the pandemic and reduce its effects on the population.

For their part, the cured patient and the mother of the recovered baby stressed, in similar statements, the enormous sacrifices and the sense of responsibility and dedication shown by all those involved in caring for people suffering from this disease, stressing, moreover, the importance of containment as the only effective means of dealing with this pandemic.

Morocco has so far recorded 153 cases of recovery, out of a total of 1,617 infections, including 113 deaths, according to data released Sunday by the Ministry of Health.
