Abderrazak Hamdallah: Newcastle and Aston Villa Are Interested in Signing the Moroccan Striker

Two Premier League clubs are said to be on the hunt for the Moroccan Abderrazak Hamdallah and are thinking seriously about signing him in the next mercato. According to Foot Mercato, Aston Villa and, more importantly, Newcastle are looking to bring in the unstoppable striker from Saudi Arabia’s Al Nasr.

Prior to the suspension of the league due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Abderrazak Hamdallah had scored 26 goals and five assists in 25 appearances in all competitions during the current year.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa had already expressed interest in the Moroccan during the winter mercato. However, this information was quickly denied by the striker’s current club. The English club apparently seems to be back to the story.

The striker, who is under contract with Al Nasr until June 2022, is expected to cost 18 million euros, the amount of his contract clause. Yet a considerable problem stands in the way of the Olympic Club de Safi child: he is not eligible to play in the English Premier League.
