Jamel Debbouze: A Very “Comic” Tribute to Medical Staff

The Coronavirus stole the 10th edition of the Marrakech du rire from him, as well as his 12 years of marriage anniversary with Mélissa Theuriau, this year. Angry but cautious, Jamel Debbouze shared a beautiful image on the Internet.

A few days after publishing a series of unpublished photos of his wedding, on 7 May 2008 – “it was yesterday,” he recalled -, the 44-year-old actor paid tribute to the nursing staff on Instagram. “Thank you to the heroes of the planet,” he wrote, under a drawing of doctors crossing a hallway, under a ceremonial hedge of superheroes (including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Spiderman, Thor and the Hulk, who bow to the heroes in blue scrubs).

The current health crisis has brought its share of drama since last March. On social networks, Jamel Debbouze has paid tribute to two of his idols, the musicians Manu Dibango and Idir, who have died of illness. Jamel Debbouze has also been directly affected by the Coronavirus.
