This year, Aid al-Adha will not be celebrated in Sebta. The autonomous government of the occupied presidency held a council and decided that the feast of sacrifice will be canceled.
The Sebta government spokesman Alberto Gaitán, in a statement to local media, said the decision was taken as part of preventive measures to reduce the risk of the spread of the Coronavirus.
He also said that the meeting of Ministry of Health officials with members of the Islamic commission, which was to be held next Tuesday to decide on the Aid al-Adha case, has been canceled.
