This year, 196,664 candidates passed the baccalaureate. The graduation rate was 63.08% compared to 65.55% last year. The scientific and technical stream takes the lead with a success rate of 61.33%.
As usual in recent years, girls are more hard-working than boys and are more likely to get the valuable opportunity to enter higher education with a rate of 55.75% of the total number of graduates.
The Ministry of National Education reports that 102,882 baccalaureate holders obtained a good mark, equivalent to 52.30 per cent of the total number.
The highest mark for the baccalaureate this year is 19.35/20. The candidate is a physical sciences student in a school in the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region.
Those who were unlucky in the first session (99,782 candidates) are eligible for the catch-up sessions from July 22 to 25. The results will be announced on July 29th.
