The famous Moroccan Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto urged all his Jewish disciples and followers in his various religious schools to pray for His Majesty King Mohammed VI. This is on the occasion of the fasting of the Jews as part of the celebration of the destruction of the First and Second Temple in Jerusalem.
Thus, the students of Rabbi Pinto, President of the Rabbinical Court of Casablanca, will perform a special prayer and wish His Majesty King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the glorious Feast of the Throne. The students of 50 Yechivas (religious schools) around the world, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Muncie, Queens, Los Angeles, Vegas, Miami, Paris, Argentina and Israel, have been instructed to do so directly by the Moroccan Rabbi.
Today, Jews are praying and beseeching God, just as they are fasting in mourning over the destruction of the First Holy Temple of Solomon by the Babylonians at the time of King Nebuchadnezzar, and the destruction of the temple of Herod II by the Romans.
It should be recalled that the Chief Rabbi of Morocco made prayers and wishes for His Majesty King Mohammed VI during his recent visit to the grave of his grandfather, as he usually does on all feasts.
Rabbi Pinto has a special appreciation and respect for His Majesty King Mohammed VI, whom he elevates to the rank of Saint, because of all the efforts and sacrifices HM is making so that his people can enjoy prosperity and stability.
