Several pages on social networks announced that Saad Lamjarred returned to Morocco on Friday. Several photos and videos, reportedly taken at Casablanca’s Mohammed V airport, have been around the Internet, showing the singer wearing his protective mask and a black t-shirt from his latest clothing collection.
According to the same sources, Lamjarred returned to Morocco following the death of his uncle last week.
It should be noted that the singer of “Casablanca” had received the agreement of the French justice in order to make his big comeback on stage. Despite his difficulties, Saad Lamjarred has continued his artistic career. He released several hits including “Ensay”, “Njibek”, “Ikhallik lili”, “Salam” and “Assif Habibi”. His video clip, Lm3allem, has exceeded 800 million views. It is the most watched clip in the Arab world.
Last May, the French daily newspaper “Le Parisien” announced that the Court of Cassation overturned the decision that sent the singer to the Paris Court of Assizes for the alleged rape of a young woman (now 23 years old) in a Parisian hotel in October 2016.
