The Father of Adnane Bouchouf Thanks King Mohammed VI

Adnane’s father, the 11-year-old child who was raped, killed and buried in Tangier, said the whole family was pleasantly surprised by the condolences of King Mohammed VI.

In a statement to Le Site info, he assured that he did not expect this gesture from the Sovereign, stressing that Adnane’s mother also expressed her joy after receiving the condolences of the King.

“This special attention is a real support for the whole family. The King’s message helped us overcome our anger and gave us peace of mind. We can never thank him enough,” said Adnane’s father.

King Mohammed VI said he learned with great sadness and sorrow the news of the tragedy that has saddened Adnane’s family.

The King expressed to the members of the deceased’s family and, through them, to all their relatives, his deep condolences and sincere compassion following this cruel loss, stressing that their unshakeable faith in God only strengthens their patience in such an experience, and that God will fully compensate them for it.

The Sovereign also condemned the heinous criminal act “of which your innocent son was a victim, and we share with you and all Moroccan families who have sympathized with you, the magnitude of this cruel loss.”
