ZiM opens direct sea links between Israel and the United Arab Emirates
They will be carried out within the framework of two company departments
Following the recent agreements between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, which represent an important step towards normalization between the two nations, the Israeli shipping company ZIM announced the establishment of a maritime link between Israel and the Eastern Mediterranean and the Emirates Port of Jebel Ali.
Today, the company announced that its ZIM India – East Med Express (ZIE) service will offer an Israel and Eastern Mediterranean-directed service to the UAE and that its ZIM Israel India (ZII) service will accept loads departing from Jebel Ali and heading to the Israeli port of Haifa.
