The Lebanese armed forces have expressed their warm thanks to King Mohammed VI for his commendable initiative to deliver food aid to the armed forces and the people of Lebanon.
On Saturday, the National News Agency reported that the representative of the Commander of the Armed Forces, General Joseph Aoun, expressed his sincere thanks to His Majesty the King for his valuable initiative during the reception of the royal gift at Rafic Hariri International Airport.
He also expressed his wishes of peace and comfort to the Moroccan people and the Kingdom of Morocco for further prosperity and progress.
On Saturday morning, two planes arrived at Rafic Harir International Airport carrying food supplies provided as a gift for the benefit of the Lebanese army and the Lebanese people.
This royal decision comes in response to a request from the Lebanese side, and as part of the solidarity with this brotherly country to enable it to face the economic challenges and the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic.
These aid supplies will continue to be delivered on Sunday. A total of 90 tons of basic food aid is expected to be delivered by eight military aircraft.
