The Appeal Committee of the Saudi Football Federation rejected on Monday the appeal filed by the club Al-Nasr against the decision of the temporary suspension of its striker, the Moroccan Abderrazak Hamdallah.
The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Union suspended the 30-year-old Moroccan striker. The suspension is related to the incidents of the match between his team and Al-Faisali in the semifinals of the King’s Cup earlier this month. Mesli Al Muammar, president of the capital club, announced his intention to appeal against the temporary suspension of the player for 15 days.
The Appeal Committee stated that it had accepted the appeal submitted by Al-Nasr club in terms of form, but rejected it on the issue and supported the decision made by the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee, noting that it was not appealable.
