RIF Trust supports children with cancer

UAE firm marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by donating $5,000 to Puttinu Cares

RIF Trust, part of the Latitude Group, an international leading residency and citizenship by investment advisory, marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month this year by donating $5,000 USD to Puttinu Cares. As part of its ongoing efforts towards supporting the local communities in which the international firm operates, RIF Trust has dedicated this contribution to spread love and hope to families with children with cancer in Malta.

Earlier this year, RIF Trust’s Malta team, headed by Ryan Darmanin, Managing Director of RIF Trust’s Malta office, visited Puttinu Cares, the children’s cancer support group that offers a holistic approach of care for families who have children with cancer. Ryan and his team had the chance to see Puttinu Cares’ inspiring on-the-ground activities and donated $5,000 on behalf of RIF Trust and Latitude to bring hope to children undergoing cancer treatment.

Mimoun Assraoui, RIF Trust’s CEO and Latitude’s Vice Chairman, said, “our commitment to support our most vulnerable citizens in our global community is a core value of RIF Trust. We are happy to support Puttinu Cares in their honourable cause and we are proud to stand by the families who have children being treated for cancer. We encourage more companies to support similar initiatives in the future.”

Rennie Zerafa, the co-founder of Puttinu Cares, commented, “we are glad for the generosity of RIF Trust and Latitude and this donation. It prompts our efforts in making a better future for children with cancer not only in Malta, but all over the world. It helps to make their lives more colourful and full of happiness by enhancing the conditions of their environment while taking cancer treatment courses.”

RIF Trust is a government-approved partner for the world’s most popular residency and citizenship by investment programmes, including Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, Vanuatu, Portugal, and Malta. Recognised among the top 25 investment migration advisories globally by U-Global Magazine – one of the most respected immigration publications, the company operates offices in 17 countries and employs over 80 staff globally.

Formed in 2002 from an idea and desire to offer a holistic approach of care for families with children who have cancer, Puttinu Cares employs the principle of solidarity, bringing back the essence of hope to families, and offers a playful environment for children while taking their cancer treatment courses.
